Football, Football, Football. It's back, and I could not be any happier! This passed week has been a roller coaster, but definitely I never have felt so like a teacher. Plus, this week ended with the best day ever....Michigan opening game! First game of the year, and I was taking a nap because I was grading papers all day. But, it's okay because Michigan Won!! Wooo!
This week has made me realize how much I miss my friends. I was able to catch up with a couple through out the week and that was what I needed, even if it was bantering back and forth on if Michigan was better than Notre Dame or not...which we all know that Michigan is the best.
As much as I miss these crazy and caring friends, I know that I'm called to be where I am for a purpose. But I do want to thank those people who have been there to answer all of my messages and made me feel like friendship lasts no matter what state you are in. So a big thank you to Liann, Michael, Marissa, Joey, Anna Marie, KSharks, Katie, Mad Cons, Stacey, Cece,Ali, Alice, Jarrett and Justin, Skups, and all those who have supported me through prayers and letters and gift cards. I really have learned from ya'll, and I'm excited to see how the next month plays out. Be sure to check back in as I update this.
Peace and Love.

Adventure Is Out There
One month into living in a new state. New city. New everything, except region. I thought maybe now was the right time to start this just to give ya'll a peek into a new chapter in this life.
Ask anyone who has known me throughout my life, I always wanted to leave my hometown in the rear-view mirror after graduation. Well, I was able to not only leave the town behind, but move to a new state completely. Crazy right?! Not really. It is not too far from home (one state over and about 3 hours away from my hometown).
So, when the day finally came to pack up and move out, of course I got a late start. But once I got on the road, it was smooth sailing. The unpacking is taking longer than I thought...I'm still finding boxes around my place. But it's starting to feel comfy and like home. (Don't worry, I have everything I need to bake cookies!)
Work is great! Great place with some wonderful and talented people. I have already made friends with some of the co-workers. Plus, it hasn't been too bad switching to new ideas and standards in my field. Though like with my place, my work space is still in the settling in phase. But it is almost there...for now.
Nonetheless, moving has been a change, but nothing I cannot handle. I know I was called here for a purpose and a reason. One so far is being able to reconnect with a good friend and meeting new ones. I like to thank everyone who has helped in some way in this move: my family (duh),my coworkers, Michael, Liann, Katie, Kristen, Maddie, Joey, Megan, and anyone I might have forgotten.
Be sure to check back as I will try to keep this updated.
:)
